    What cookies are

    Cookies are small text files stored on your device. We use them, plus similar technologies like local storage, to keep you signed in and to understand how the site is used.

    Categories we use

    Essential (always on)

    Needed for the site to work: keeping you signed in, remembering quiz progress, protecting against fraud. We do not need consent for these under UK law.

    Analytics (consent-only)

    Anonymised page-view and event tracking so we can improve the product. Only set if you accept analytics in the cookie banner.

    Marketing (consent-only)

    Used to measure email and ad performance. Only set if you accept marketing in the cookie banner.

    Third parties

    Our hosting and database provider (Supabase) sets a session cookie to keep you signed in. That's the only third-party cookie set by default. Analytics and marketing are off until you opt in.
