Terms of Service

1. About knwn.
knwn. is a coach-matching platform. We help you find a vetted health, fitness or wellbeing coach based on your goals, preferences and circumstances. We are not a medical service and we do not provide coaching ourselves — coaches operate independently.
2. Eligibility
You must be 18 or over to use knwn.. By creating an account you confirm that you are.
3. Your account
You are responsible for keeping your login credentials safe and for activity on your account. Tell us immediately at team@knwn.uk if you suspect unauthorised access.
4. Matching is a recommendation, not advice
The coaches we suggest are recommendations based on the answers you give us. They are not a substitute for medical advice. Always consult a doctor before starting a new exercise or nutrition programme, especially if you have a health condition or are pregnant.
5. Coach relationships
Once introduced, your relationship with a coach is between the two of you. Pricing, cancellation, and refunds are agreed directly with the coach. knwn. is not a party to that contract and is not liable for the coaching service itself.
6. Acceptable use
- Don't impersonate someone else or supply false information.
- Don't use the platform to harass, abuse or harm anyone.
- Don't try to scrape, reverse-engineer or interfere with the service.
- Don't upload anything you don't own the rights to.
We may suspend or close accounts that breach these rules.
7. Intellectual property
The knwn. name, logo, content and software are ours (or licensed to us). You keep ownership of anything you upload, but you grant us a limited licence to host and display it as needed to run the service.
8. Liability
Nothing in these terms limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or anything else that cannot be limited under UK law. Otherwise our total liability to you is limited to the fees you have paid us (if any) in the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim.
9. Changes to the service
We may update or discontinue features. We'll give reasonable notice of material changes that affect you.
10. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction.
