knwn. is a vetted coaching platform that matches you with the right specialist based on your goals, health profile, and preferences — not based on who has the most followers or the loudest profile.

You answer 10 questions and we use that to surface your best match from our roster of verified coaches. The matched coach is notified and reaches out to you directly. No browsing. No guessing.

What does the quiz cover?

The quiz asks about:

– Your goals — what you're working towards
– Any relevant health conditions or considerations
– The type of support you're looking for (nutrition, training, or both)
– Session format preference (online or in person)
– Your location
– Coach gender preference
– Your monthly budget
– Anything you'd like a coach to know or avoid

It takes around 3–5 minutes.

Question 3

How does the matching actually work?

Your quiz answers are scored against every coach on the platform across a set of weighted criteria — goals, specialisms, health conditions, format, location, and budget. The highest-scoring coach is your primary match. You'll also see two runner-up coaches.

We use AI to generate a short, personalised explanation of why your match is right for you — referencing your specific goals and the coach's real specialisms. Not a generic summary. An actual explanation.

Question 4

What happens after I get my match?

Accepted Answer

If you're happy with your match, you can notify the coach to reach out for a discovery call. It's their responsibility to review your profile and reach out to you directly, once notified— usually to arrange a discovery call.

You don't need to do anything else. If your primary match hasn't been in touch within 72 hours, we'll automatically notify your next best match and let you know.

Do I have to pay to use the matching quiz?

The matching quiz is free to complete. Coaching fees are agreed directly between you and your coach — knwn. shows you each coach's price range during the matching process so there are no surprises.

How are the coaches vetted?

Accepted Answer

Every coach on knwn. is reviewed and approved by us before they appear in any results. We check qualifications, professional experience, insurance, and how they actually work with clients.

We don't accept everyone who applies. The standard matters to us because it's what makes the matching meaningful.

What types of coaches are on the platform?

Accepted Answer

knwn. is multi-disciplinary. The platform includes strength and conditioning coaches, nutritionists, women's health specialists, pre and postnatal coaches, behaviour change coaches, and performance coaches.

Many coaches hold specialisms in specific conditions — including PCOS, endometriosis, menopause, IBS, thyroid health, eating disorder history, and shift work — which is why accurate matching matters.

What if my match doesn't feel right?

You can retake the quiz at any time. If your matched coach isn't the right fit after an initial conversation, let us know — we'll find out why and work to get it right.

Question 9

What do you do with my health information?

Accepted Answer

Any health conditions you share in the quiz are used solely to match you with a coach who has the right specialism. This data is classified as Special Category Data under UK GDPR and is processed only with your explicit consent.

We do not sell your data. We do not use it for advertising. Health information is never included in plain-text emails.

Can I delete my data?

Accepted Answer

Yes. You have the right to request deletion of your data at any time. Get in touch at team@knwn.uk and we'll handle it promptly.
